May I suggest updating the original post with these instructions? Might be helpful for anyone to take on making some new zounds. Although in my opinion after hearing some of the zounds, I do hear clipping when set to +2dB instead of 0. Perhaps a compressor would work better.

Ok, original post is updated.
Yes compression would be better. I did try compression initially, but it never sounded loud enough even with max compression, so I ended up using amplify instead.

These compressor settings seem to work pretty well... you can also stack it for maximum ear rape.

I could probably think of some more with a couple of days. But if you just want to get done with it that’s cool too.
