The one thing I should point it, was during that test, the add process for new players was broken, new player added to even teams always went to red (Balancer or not). That's since been fixed by snarf.
The hardest part is there's no data in the stats about whether balancer was on or off, so I had to track dates manually. We could run it again, turn the balancer off for a week and retest. I saved the queries -- (the stats DB data model is bit convoluted -- mostly because it crams all the gametypes into common fields).
However, I think today, I'll put the KnownPlayers multipliers back on and see.

Just curious, because I haven't really kept up well enough, but what exactly is being multiplied? Did we get rid of map specific scores, or is that turned on? Or is it multiplying the player's average pph?

Right now ( and correct me snarf) I think we turned off Map Specific PPH. So its just your average PPH. I actually think that's better because you can have a map where you mino whore, or levi whore and it will up your average a bit vs. really skew your PPH on that map (TAL in the ION is a good example).
So average PPH is multiplied. Top players get 1.3 - 1.1 multipliers based on rankings roughly from here: https://www.omnipotents.com/utstats/onsrankings.php
So say Enyo at 387.7 and leon 391 would be 504 (enyo) and 508 (leon) it really means that someone won't move up easily to the top rankings, recall balancer does top pair splitting to each team. The few top players usually will need several upper lower level players to counter (if that makes sense)... meaning maybe me and snarf = 1 enyo/leon.
