BTW, I cannot hear voice when I play (it's an OS issue). So if I'm ignoring any directions that you might be furiously giving, that is why.

So, you don't hear admins when they're logged in either? Normally an admin logging in forces all players and spectators to hear them.

windows updates case this , mostly for headsets .its kinda complex to fix
had it happen twice to me , no mic then no headset . speakers always ok though.
fixed by deleting device manger driver for audio. after refresh drivers loaded but then the headset speakers went wonky.
sound manager got them working correctly but took hours.
