Did anybody play Wolfenstein, Doom I/II, Quake?
I don't remember when I got UT 2004. I was playing original UT and just switched to 2004 one day, I think pretty soon after the release, because at 1st the game was pretty buggy and crashed often.

Re: Permanent Bans
Would you have been OK with it had he called someone the N-word? If THAT bothers you, then disparaging Jews in the same manner should too. No, that's doesn't bother me. In Russian that's a normal word and old synonym of black. IMHO, Americans making too much out of it, exaggerating the problem with...

Re: Permanent Bans
he's had repeated phrases that seem to regard calling someone Jewish an insult. I really hope you weren't offended by being called Jewish ;) Having a good mix of nationalities from different parts of Russia and Ukraine (including around 4% of Ashkenazi based on 23andme), I couldn't care less about ...

Vugluskr
Many asked what does it mean. Challenging to explain, but we have grok now: The name "Vugluskr" comes from a classic Russian joke that plays on a child's misunderstanding of language. Here's the explanation for non-Russian speakers: In the joke, a teacher is dictating a sentence in a Russi...

1) the phrase was antisemitic I genuinely never associated this phrase with anything antisemitic. In Russia, the version of the phrase used by Anon is commonly applied to describe individuals who have "extremly sensitive nature", without any ethnic or religious connotations. I would never...

high level map and vehicle knowledge, and good old fashioned hustling to nodes I think you can score in the upper 50% of your team if you simply go to nodes and link them, and shoot enemy nodes when you can. I want to try that on a couple of matches. Too often, I see people in power vehicles, espec...

So looking at getting a new Desktop. My current one, Circa 2016, is still working, but figure might be time to get an upgrade from my i7 6600k, 1080 GTX. Since several here keep pace with the current trends: Which processor: I see i7, i9 14th Gen are pretty close in CPU performance, and I'll say th...
